History of serious allergic reaction (i. e. , anaphylaxis) to vaccine components or encephalopathy (e. g. , coma or prolonged seizures) not attributable to an identifiable cause within 7 days of administration of a vaccine with pertussis componentsDrugs that may interact with this drug are Acetaminophen, belimumab, chloroquine, immunosuppressants (medications used to treat cancer or autoimmune disease, or prevent organ rejection), azathioprine, corticosteroids (e. g. , budesonide, dexamethasone, hydrocortisone, fluticasone, prednisone), cyclosporine, hydroxyurea.
Before you receive this vaccine, tell the health care professional if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your health care professional for more details. Vaccines may not fully protect everyone who receives them. This vaccine is given by injection into a muscle by a health care professional. It is usually given in the upper arm.
