This medicine is use as an antibacterial agent in the treatment of urinary tract infection.
It can cause Gastric upset, nausea, rash.
It is contraindicated in Severe renal or hepatic insufficiency.
Large doses may cause bladder irritation, urinary frequency, albuminuria, hematuria. Monitor LFTs, especially in patients with history of liver impairmentPlease consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant. This medicine can interact with sodium picosulfate/magnesium oxide/anhydrous citric acid.
