Use to treat Hyperlipidemia
It can cause Muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness, upper stomach pain, loss of appetite, dark colored urine, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), abnormal liver function tests.
You should not use this medicine if you have active liver disease or abnormal liver function tests. Do not use ezetimibe and simvastatin if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Rule out secondary causes of hyperlipidemia before initiating therapy. Use with caution in severe electrolte, endocrine and metabolic disorder.
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug. It can interact with Colchicine, fenofibrate, fenofibric acid, warfarin, Coumadin.
This drug is known to cause issues during pregnancy, therefore please do not take this drug if you are pregnant.
