It is indicated in the treatment of chronic angina.
Bradycardia, palpitations, tinnitus, vertigo, blurred vision, abdominal pain, dry mouth, vomiting, dyspepsia.
QT Interval Prolongation may occur. Ranolazine may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert. Grapefruit and grapefruit juice may interact with ranolazine and lead to unwanted side effects. Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.
You should not take ranolazine if you have cirrhosis of the liver or hypersensitivity to the drug.
Do not use RANEXA with strong CYP3A inhibitors, including ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin, nefazodone, nelfinavir, ritonavir, indinavir, and saquinavir
