It is a mineral indicated in the immediate treatment of hypocalcemic tetany (abnormally low levels of calcium in the body that cause muscle spasm).

Redness, hypomagnesemia, hypophosphatemia, hypotension, hypercalcemia, Nausea, Tissue necrosis at injection site, Vasodilation

Patients with Renal calculi, hypercalciuria, hypophosphatemia, hypercalcemiaIt may intearct with antibiotics such as Ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, enoxacin , norfloxacin, sparfloxacin,trovafloxacin, demeclocycline , minocycline and tetracycline. Some bisphosphonates include alendronate, etidronate, risedronate, tiludronate, and others.

Before taking it, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details. This medication contains calcium chloride. Do not take CaCl or CaCl2 if you are allergic to calcium chloride or any ingredients contained in this drug. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant. As a component of human milk calcium enters milk. Use caution if breastfeeding.
