It is used in the treatment of acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis and mild-to-moderate pneumonia.
Nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, or trouble sleeping may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to gemifloxacin, fluoroquinolone antibiotic agents, or any of the product components.
