This medication is used to treat certain skin diseases (atopic dermatitis). It works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria and reducing redness, itching, crusting, and swelling of the skin sores. This medication is a combination of an antibiotic (fusidic acid) and a corticosteroid (hydrocortisone). This medication only treats certain bacterial infections. It will not work for other infections such as viral or fungal infections.

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to fusidic acid, hydrocortisone; or if you have any other allergies
During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. This medication passes into breast milk. However, this drug is unlikely to harm a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
