Use to treat Malaria
It can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomitting, diarrhea, dizziness, hives, rashes etc
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug. It can interact with L-methyl folate, folic acid, phenytoin, prometazine.
Use with caution if you have severe kidney or liver problems or certain blood problems. Do not use if you are allergic to pyrimethamine or any other ingredient in pyrimethamine/sulfadoxine. Discontinue stat if skin reactions occur. Avoid prolong sun exposure.
