It can cause Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle twitching, irritation, infection at the site of injection, electrolyte overload.
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the drug. Concomitant administration with blood through the same infusion set, Indomethacin, Oxytocin, Terbutaline.
Use in caution with hypertensive patients or cardiac failure. Do not use unless the solution is clear and seal is intactMonitor fluid, electrolyte and acid-base balance regularlyDonot use it if you have following conditions: Congestive heart failure, Patients with intracranial or intraspinal hemorrhage, Severe renal impairment, Sodium retention and oedema.
