It is used to control blood sugar levels in type II diabetic patients.
Dizziness, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Confusion, Weakness, Sweating, Changes in vision, Decreased heartbeat, Constipation, Skin rash.
Hypersensitivity to the drug and patients with Diabetic ketoacidosis and Impaired kidney functionTell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: sulfonamide antibiotics, blood thinners, antidepressants, aspirin, propranolol, rifampin, phenylbutazone, disopyramide, probenecid, clofibrate,water pills, steroids, oral contraceptives, cimetidine.
Before using it, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it;or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients (such as sulfites), which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details. Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve or if it worsens (your blood sugar is too high or too low). This medicine should be used with caution if you have a liver disease or the normal function of the liver is impaired.
Use of this medicine is not recommended while breastfeeding. Monitoring of the infant for signs of decreased blood sugar may be required if this medicine is taken. You should consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Please consult your doctor when taking this medicine if you are pregnant.
