Hypersensitivity to moxifloxacin or any member of the quinolone class of antibacterialsThis medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. Limit your time in the sun. Avoid tanning booths and sunlamps. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. Tell your doctor right away if you get sunburned or have skin blisters/redness. Serious, sometimes fatal hypoglycemia reported including in patients without a history of hypoglycemia (common with gatifloxacin, which is no longer marketed), monitor glucose levels closely in patients with diabetes, if hypoglycemic reaction occurs, discontinue therapy and initiate appropriate therapy immediatelyDo not have any immunizations/vaccinations while using this medication unless your doctor tells you to. It is unknown if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
