Generic Name Brimonidine
Use to treat Glaucoma

It is used for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma or ocular hypertension who require adjunctive or replacement therapy because of inadequately controlled IOP.

Allergic conjunctivitis, burning sensation of eyes, conjunctival hyperemia, eye pruritus, follicular conjunctivitis, stinging of eyes

Known hypersensitivity to brimonidine or any component of the formulation; neonates, infants, and children younger than 2 years. Before using brimonidine, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details. After you apply this drug, your vision may become temporarily blurred. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that needs clear vision until you can do it safely. It may be absorbed by soft contact lenses; remove lens prior to administration and wait 15 minutes before reinserting. Use this medication in the affected eye(s) every 6 to 8 hours as needed. Do not use more than 4 times a day.
