This medication is used to treat skin infections. This product contains betamethasone valerate, a medium-strength anti-inflammatory corticosteroid that helps reduce swelling, redness, and itching. It also contains gentamicin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
Burning, redness, irritation, or dryness of the skin may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Some products that may interact with this drug are: other aminoglycoside antibiotics (such as amikacin, neomycin, tobramycin) other corticosteroids (such as prednisone)

During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. This medication passes into breast milk. However, this drug is unlikely to harm a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
